It was January 12th, 2010 when the ground started to quiver. Pictures were falling from the walls, glasses were shattering, the lights were swinging violently from the ceiling and our house was groaning like a ship being battered in a storm.
From that day on, I have lived disaster after disaster and my life has been a constant state of creating calmness within the chaos. My experiences are the root of my creativity and fuel my dedication to create spaces that feel both comforting and exciting.
My name is Sasha Tesserot and I believe that interiors are a reflection of our true selves and that who you are reflects directly on what, why and how you design. I am a Haitian woman who isn’t afraid to let my emotions and experiences be a creative force in the way I design.
Colors, materials, textures, furniture, lighting and art are the language I choose to express myself in and I aspire to marry my eclectic yet calm style to beautifully create spaces that speak loudly and are worth listening to.
